Registration for this schedule starts on 01/18/2026 and ends on 06/15/2026
Participants must be 7 years to 16 years and 1 month old when the program starts.
Each camper begins in Level 1 Horsemanship Camp. Once a camper completes the requirements for a level, they advance to the next Horsemanship Level. During the four-day camp, each camper is assigned a horse to learn from and practice their skills with.
Each Horsemanship Level includes classroom instruction, groundwork, and riding skills. These activities promote leadership, respect, and bonding with their horse. Water is provided at camp.
Horsemanship Camps are held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Campers need to bring a sack lunch daily.
Campers who pass a Horsemanship Level will receive a rosette ribbon. Each level passed is recognized with a different colored ribbon.
On the last day of camp at 3:30 p.m., parents are invited to the ranch to enjoy a riding demonstration.
Campers may ride the Rusty K Bus to and from camp. The bus will pick up and drop off campers at the Rustad Recreation Center in West Fargo. The bus departs for camp at 8:30 a.m. and returns at the end of the day at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Please contact Rusty K Ranch if you have any questions.
